Thousands of people will join Silent Unity (an international, trans-denominational, 24/7 prayer ministry) and Unity churches and centers around the world on September 12, 2019, for the 26th annual Unity World Day of Prayer.
“World Day of Prayer gives us an opportunity to come together in celebration of our oneness with God, each other, and our world. Through prayer we align with the Divine as we courageously accept that we are brave, bright, and beautiful,” said Rev. Christine Boylan who has been the spiritual leader and minister at Unity of Greater Hartford since November, 2016.
On Wednesday, September 11th beginning at 6 pm., Unity of Greater Hartford will mark World Day of Prayer with a Tibetan Bowl Service (Marie Menut) and then at 7 pm there will be a Prayer Service, Candlelight Walk and Gong Bath (Conduit Center). The evening will conclude with a dessert reception.
On Thursday, September 12th there will be a 12-hour Prayer Vigil in the church sanctuary from 6 am to 6 pm. The public is invited to attend and prayer requests may be submitted online by using the Prayer Request Form (Click HERE) or at the church during the week and Sunday.
