Be a Christmas Blessing to Others!
Now More Than Ever, We All Need It!
Unity of Greater Hartford's Christmas Blessing Team has been hard at work to create two different ways for all of us to be a blessing to others this year.
Please note that this year, due to COVID-19 precautions, The Connecticut Children's Hospital is unable to accept toy collections. So in lieu of our Annual Teddy Bear Round-up, there are other ways to brighten the season for many.

Unity of Greater Hartford Celebrates GivingTuesday with a Technology Improvement Campaign
that runs from December 1 to December 11, 2020
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world. GivingTuesday will kick off the generosity season this year by inspiring people to give back on December 1, 2020, and throughout the year.
Although our church doors have been closed the church has undergone improvements and is soon to launch a major technology improvement that will improve our livestreaming capabilities.
In as effort to control the lightening in the Sanctuary the wonderful Susan Wright created beautiful drapes for the two side doors and the main window. We will now have the three arched windows on the platform tinted. We also installed beautiful custom oak wooden blinds on the eight windows in the sanctuary.
Out next step is to utilize a different system to livestream our Sunday and Wednesday Services as well special services or events in the Sanctuary.
In order to do all of this we need your tangible support in the form of financial donations and we also need your intangible support of love and faith. We invite you to join with the Board to create a bigger and better online platform for our Unity Community and its message of Oneness. Surely this is the message that the world needs now!
GivingTuesday was launched in 2012 as a simple idea: to create a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
